ITS TIMEEEEE
I did it today guys, I moved to KANSAI GAIDAI! harrrrrrrrrr~~hahah!! I don’t even know where to start with this post!
Since planes don’t arrive to KIX till around 4, and then the 2 hour bus ride, I figured there was no need for me to get to the dorms untill around 5 at least, but then I realized how I gotta claim my space and buy groceries for..life, so at around 11am I started packing.  I can’t really call it packing since I ended up just dumping everything into luggages, without doing any tetris-ing and organizing. Stupid idea, I ended up having to lug 4 huge cases on a 2 hour bus/train adventure with my dad, up and down countless stair cases..ugh it was terrible..but i m..HERE!
I was rudely greeted by this old man siting behind one of thoes glass windows you face the moment you enter the door, telling me how shoes arn’t allowed inside.  Duh, i should i have known this, it was in the youtube video..haha!! walked next door to semiar house 2, got my orientation stuff, and then this japanese girl [cindy] took me around and taught me everything.  My dorm is beautiful! I was the first girl in, lucky! claimed my space and everything. Unpacked, and came back out to meet my dad where we ended up having some chinese food like 8 blocks down from my dorm. This is a picture of what I had, apparently they named the thing dragon ball, haha!
oh, but the most retarded thing, there are some girls that are going to do home stay, but have to spend the first orientation week in the seminar houses, so they are just cramming everyone in here…i have 3 girls in my room… this tiny but cozy 6 tanami mat room, room 3332, i consider this a very unlucky number..haha! I don’t like the number 3
Anyways, after saying bye to my dad, i ended up going grocery shopping, bought some stuff for breakfast, and then lugged it back home.  When I say lugged, i mean LUGGEDDD, i thought i was going to DIE. it was like a 20 min walk, in 35+ weather, where I was already so exhausted from unpacking..ugh it was terrible, i need a bicycle.
I came back and was greeted by my room mate!! Alexa, from America. haha She seems incredibly nice, and I feel super lucky to be her room mate. I can definetly trust her with my stuff and room.  Everyone else from this dorm seems to be from America too..so strange, they come in like packs of 10 haha! but there’s one girl from England, one from Canada, and another from Japan.
Everyone was a bit unfriendly today..but i think it’s cuase we’re all incredibily tired. So much to get use to!
